The campsite was very nice and spacious. I liked that is was flat and you weren't on top of your neighbor. The only complaint I would have is that you can't see the lake.

We stayed here for 5 nights while doing the Bourbon Trail. We felt it was centrally located to hit the areas we wanted. The campground is clean and the majority of the spots are spacious. We had spot 44 and liked the location as in...More

We stayed here 5 nights while we were checking out the “Bourbon” trail and surrounding areas. Having a 40 ft. 5th wheel, we sometimes find the sites are cramped, but that is not the case here!! The sites are huge and very well maintained, even...More

This is a nice deep lake and snakes around through the hillsides. Not much scenery such as homes, restaurants etc. but a nice lake to ski and tube on or to just throw anchor and float around.

We have stayed in the campground several times. We really like site #21 and have camped on it three times. When backed in, your drivers side is secluded by a small stand of trees. On your curb/passenger side it has a large grassy area between...More

After living here 4 years, we finally got the chance to rent a pontoon boat from Taylorsville Lake Marina and what a great time we had. The staff at the marina answered all questions regarding the use of the boat as well as tips for...More

If you enjoy kayaking and taking in beautiful scenery, it's worth the trip to the Van Buren boat ramp at Taylorsville Lake. It's not a very busy boat ramp during the week and simple to launch your kayak from there. The beauty of Taylorsville Lake...More
