We stopped here for a couple of hours as a break during a long trip along I-75. It's easily accessible off main roads and offers a number of rewarding hiking trails that don't require massive investments of time.

The cottages were more than we expected. Everything that we needed was supplied. The view of the mountains was the high light of our stay.

Dinner at the lodge was disappointing. Food & service both poor. Had to ask for clean sheets too. 😩

This park exceeded our expectations. It’s just beautiful. We stayed in one of the CCC built cabins. They were originally built in the 30’s but have been updated nicely. The park itself is just beautiful.

The one bedroom cabins have central heat/air and a fireplace. A queen bed in bedroom and pull-out sofa in living room.
