It was a nice chilly walk. We got to see the murals, tugboats and barges. Across the water is the state of Illinois. On the second picture is the Ohio River and the Tennessee River begins. I was standing on this side of river obviously...More

wonderful murals and info about the founding of Paducah along with the amazing view of the Ohio River . People were everywhere, walking and enjoying the sights. Whether there is an eclipse or not, I'd say visit Paducah. The historic downtown is a treat!

I would suggest that you visit a large national quilt show, rather than make a special trip to visit the museum. I was disappointed with the number of award winning quilts displayed by American quilters. The day we were there there was a traveling display...More

During the summer/fall months there is always something to do. Music is always great. Excellent place for a stroll, sit, etc.

I love the murals depicting and earlier time. I was grateful there were places for us to pull into as it was too cold to walk. I wonder if the walls are actually there to serve as a flood break

I have been to the river walk many times. Paducah has worked very hard to improve this area with renovations and additions ongoing. It is a please place to relax and feel the breeze blowing in off of the Ohio River. There always seems to...More

This section of Paducah is a ‘cannot miss.’ It is clean, artistic, historic and endearing. Every local I encountered were just as friendly and genuine and accommodating as could be. A friend from Nashville made me promise to go to Paducah. I did and have...More

This walk is behind the flood walls where the 50 murals are. You can drive down and park by the river. You can walk along the flood wall and see the tow boats, barges and other things going on in the Ohio River. Restaurants are...More

Across the street is a good sized parking lot that you could park to look around in the area, but not to do overnight parking.
