The river walk has a wall that goes for several hundreds of yards long with paintings along the way depicting historical development of Paducah.

We visited Paducah mid-week to see the quilt museum. It was quiet during a morning walk and parking was easy. I can imagine a bit more excitement if something was happening in town.

We first visited a number of years ago and were impressed by the murals depicting local history. Every time we visit Paducah we are drawn back here and just have to walk along the river wall admiring them again, something we never tire of.

The Paducah Riverwalk was visually appealing, well kept, and clean. The views were relaxing, and there were plenty of seating options for everyone. Definitely will revisit when I am in the area again.

Nice peaceful walk and very relaxing. It offered a chance to walk around at your pace and get a feel for the town.

wonderful murals and info about the founding of Paducah along with the amazing view of the Ohio River . People were everywhere, walking and enjoying the sights. Whether there is an eclipse or not, I'd say visit Paducah. The historic downtown is a treat!

I would suggest that you visit a large national quilt show, rather than make a special trip to visit the museum. I was disappointed with the number of award winning quilts displayed by American quilters. The day we were there there was a traveling display...More

Across the street is a good sized parking lot that you could park to look around in the area, but not to do overnight parking.
