Especially if you're a quilter, this is a wonderful place to visit. The quilts are amazing and the docents are helpful. I loved the gift shop.

Both inspiring and intimidating, the quilts in this museum ran the gamut of techniques, age, and style. We spent longer than we had anticipated wandering and admiring the beautiful fabrics, stitches, and workmanship. The staff in the exhibit halls provided a lot of information which enhanced our understanding and appreciation of what we were seeing.

We were on a road trip, and stopped in Paducah for the night. We visited this museum because it was highly rated on TripAdvisor. It certainly deserves high ratings, with many quilts of intricate and interesting designs. This place is a must-see in Paducah.

This is a unique exhibition. I forgot to count but there are at least 100 items. Not counting the many little quilts made by children. Photo is prohibitid. Story of the quilt and its maker is described next to every piece. There are interesting goods in the museum shop as well.

We where impressed by the fine detail the was shown in each quilt on display. Take your time to look at each quilt in great detail for it will show you the time honored art of quilting.

I am a quilter and enjoyed this well curated museum greatly. Surprisingly my husband even appreciated it. It is laid out very well and the quilts are truly works of art.

I was very surprised at the caliber of the museum. I was not interested in going to it, but as the rest our foursome wanted to see it, I begrudgingly went. I am glad it did. The workmanship of the quilts was outstanding. The staff and docents were extremely knowledgeable and VERY friendly. Whoever started or funded the museum did... More

Impressive display of the best of the best in quilts. While visiting Hancock's of Paducah fabric store, we took in the museum. It was quite impressive. The only disappointment is that we were not allowed to take pictures. Although the value for the entrance fee ($11) is good.....no pictures is a downer.

The quilts on display are beyond description. The work that the artists put into them is just stunning. My favorite was of a forest scene in California. I felt like I could just step into it. The detail was fantastic. I was a little disappointed in the fact that there was not anything about the history of quilting or artifacts... More
