My family recently visited the Newport Aquarium, and once again, I left with the thought in my head that I won't be back. The fish and reptiles are very neat to look at, but if you go on a weekend, forget about being able to...More

On a cold January Sunday not a lot to do so took in the Aquarium. Overall a very nice facility with typical display of fish and sharks. My complaint is that like many facilities like this is that it is over priced at $25/person. Taking...More

I took my two grandaughters to this aquarium and both had a fantastic time. Both the 17 year old and the 6 year old were amazed by the variety of things to see. We were there about 2 1/2 hours and could have spent even...More

Went here with the family for our bonding time and it turned out to be a great idea. My toddler has been really into aquatic animals the past few months so we went out on a limb and bought annual passes. They pay for themselves...More

We decided to take our 20 month old daughter to the Newport Aquarium, because she loves fish! We have seen them at our local zoo and she gets so excited when she sees, "fishys!" We arrived and we had previously bought our tickets because we...More

We had an amazing time at the Newport aquarium. The shark display was probably my favorite but the kids enjoyed touching the sting rays and of course the penguin display.

Made a visit with my grandson's on New Years Eve and found it very informative and entertaining, especially the penguins. Worth the cost of admissions by itself.

Really wonderful place. Hard to find cause of road construction and Google kept sending me in circles and parking not so great but awesome place to visit. Little pricey but that's okay um sure it cost alot to maintain all the exhibits and staff. Would...More

What a crowd! Perhaps the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve was the wrong time to make our first visit... and the colds we both came down with suggest that our immune systems weren't ready for the multitude of folks in close quarters... and,...More

Visited over Christmas vacation with our 3 children aged 2-9. It is pricey (as is anything), but it was a good way to spend the afternoon. Did not pay for the penguin encounter as we had already dropped $100 just to get inside. Lots to...More

Hi. I am not able to answer that question. We watched the penguin encounter as part of the overall admission ticket and it was fun. I recommend calling the Aquarium directly about admission for just the penguins.

There is a parking garage there. Plus valet, which I thought was worth the price. As for drinks, yes, I brought in a coffee and they let me take it right in.
