About
Claymore Wines is a boutique Clare Valley producer of premium wines with unique labelling inspired by the music that we love. The Cellar Door is open 7 days a week; 11am-5pm Monday to Saturday and 11am - 4pm Sundays and Public Holidays. We take our winemaking seriously however with labels such as Joshua Tree Riesling, You'll Never Walk Alone GMS, Dark Side of the Moon Shiraz - we know how to have a rockin' good time! Come and experience our wines, share a cheese platter in the Cellar Door and have some fun with us!

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The winery was recommended to us by the Clare Valley Caravan Park which is basically next door. We found the staff on the 2 times that we visited very friendly and helpful. I sure we will enjoy the wines that we purchased.

We’ve visited this cellar door several times in the last couple of years and we’re never disappointed. Delicious wines, in particular the Walk this Way Riesling, and the Dark Side of the Moon shiraz. They also do a pretty mean platter. You must get yourself a jar of the Cabernet merlot jelly to have with your cheese at home. It’s to die for! We stay in the Clare Valley Caravan Park next door and it’s a very short walk around to the cellar door.
These two places keep us coming back to Leasingham.

Great staff, very friendly and knowledgeable of the wines. Good prices, no just give a menu pay ex amount depending on tastings you had unlike several nearby wineries. Nice atmosphere

I might be a little biased as I am not a big fan of Riesling or dry whites however the red wines here are great after comparing them with some other wineries.
Friendly service with great advice. Also ordered a platter which was ample for two.

This was a great winery on the way into Clare. Perhaps not quite as picturesque as other wineries the service and experience was excellent. The staff member was friendly, knowledgeable and warm. We didn’t feel rushed at all and were able to taste a number of wines in an inviting environment. Definitely worth stopping for.

Some great reds- Dark side of the Moon and Never Walk Alone... wine club offers are good. Loved the Riesling too. We visited on a hectic weekend, but were made welcome and listened to live music.

We were offered a table and served our tastings there, excellent service also meant we could take our time and really enjoy what we were tasting. They didn’t mind if we wished to taste different wines, they catered to each ones individual tastes.
Lovely cellar door, clean convenient toilet right there in the cellar door.
Good value for money wines. Staff excellent. They offered a range of other merchandise as well as wines. Thanks

Called in here as part of our trip to the Clare valley.

This is not the sort of place you would settle in and make an afternoon of it. But the wines are superior. Tasting room small but practical.

Wines - very special. We called in for about half an hour - which was just about right for us.

I would happily return.
