Stop by the park to see the sunset. It has beautiful views of the bridges and river and was definitely worth an evening stroll.

Louisville's vision to develop this park certainly was a good one. It's well done, beautiful, large with plenty of parking and safe. Don't drive by without stopping.

This is Louisville best hidden gem! Beautiful at night over the river and lights. Great exercise. The park is wonderful for children and families. Seems very safe. A great activity for everyone. Glad we stopped.

Took a hike along the waterfront that brought me to the park. Maybe it was the time of year or the recent rains but was pretty average and a lot of litter.

An added bonus to my visit to The Big Four Bridge was the beautiful park surrounding it... there were nice, well maintained paths, porch style swings, a splash park and a very nice memorial to Abraham Lincoln. My son and I enjoyed a swing, reading...More

There are a couple of restaurants. Joe's Crab shack comes to mind. But I don't believe there is outdoor seating and dog friendly. If you go up a few blocks off of the river, there are up around Main street.
