Nice selection of fresh cut trees. Always enjoy being by the Ohio River as I find it relaxing. Plenty of parking. Lots of folks buying trees helps you get into the Christmas spirit if you aren't already in that mind frame!

Easy walking up to and along the banks of the Ohio river. Enjoyed the sunset over the water and the wide views. Followed the waterway along sculpted path

Visited one early Wednesday morning. Park was nice and clean. People were nice. Water was a little icky but I enjoyed the views and the swings around the area. Really wish I had more time to explore. Will return if I get the chance.

Stop by the park to see the sunset. It has beautiful views of the bridges and river and was definitely worth an evening stroll.

Louisville's vision to develop this park certainly was a good one. It's well done, beautiful, large with plenty of parking and safe. Don't drive by without stopping.

This is Louisville best hidden gem! Beautiful at night over the river and lights. Great exercise. The park is wonderful for children and families. Seems very safe. A great activity for everyone. Glad we stopped.

Being here for a conference, this is a nice walkway with lots of history, where you can literally get a breath of fresh air... except for the plumbing renovation. I am sure that when the renovation is complete this will be perfectly romantic! Louisville continues...More

We drive across the bridge from Louisville to the Indiana side to walk the Big Four Bridge. It’s less crowded and parking is easier. This particular day we decided to venture through the Waterfront Park and over to Joe’s Crab Shack. Along the way we...More

Took a hike along the waterfront that brought me to the park. Maybe it was the time of year or the recent rains but was pretty average and a lot of litter.

There are a couple of restaurants. Joe's Crab shack comes to mind. But I don't believe there is outdoor seating and dog friendly. If you go up a few blocks off of the river, there are up around Main street.
