This project was done in phases over many years and with significant investment by the city. The end result is, in my opinion, what has to be one of the more spectacular city parks you will find. The waterfront includes Louisville Slugger Field, one of...More

Plenty of things to do. Very beautiful view. Great food at Joes Crab Shack. Clarksville Indiana not far from right across the river.

This river front park is absolutely Millions of dollars of waste, It's wasted because the rest of the parks in Jefferson county suffer, several district have hardly no parks at all.

It's pretty and peaceful. It was absolutely clean. I admired how it was downtown but not noisy. I would come here again and recommend it too.

Make sure and do the walking bridge! It's great to walk to Indiana from Kentucky. When on the Indiana side, go to the candy store! Great family activity.

This is a nice waterfront park by the river in Louisville downtown. One can simple take a stroll, do bike, run or simply sit and enjoy the river.

I walked from my hotel to the park and found it to be a great viewing area for the Ohio River. Others have complained about panhandlers in the area but I saw none during my mid morning walk. Lots to see and plenty of benches...More

This was the first activity we did after arriving in Louisville for an anniversary get-a-way holiday; it was terrific. We walked from our downtown accommodations on 4th Street to the Ohio River, from there we walked along the public Louisville Waterfront Park paths paralleling the...More

This beautiful park is located on the Ohio River and is an excellent vantage point to take in sweeping views of the river of course but also the impressive bridges that cross it and the downtown skyline. There's a walking path that connects by pedestrian...More

We could not find parking on the waterfront. Walked past too many panhandlers along the water. Sketchy place. Not worth the risk.

There are a couple of restaurants. Joe's Crab shack comes to mind. But I don't believe there is outdoor seating and dog friendly. If you go up a few blocks off of the river, there are up around Main street.
