This was worth a stroll. Spent 2 or 3 hours walking around. Lots of ornate grave markers dating back to mid-1800s. I recommend getting a map from the office, then driving to each section, parking on the road (allowed), and walking around. Trying to walk the whole thing would be a full day adventure. The cemetery closes before 5, so... More

We wanted to pay our respect to this great champion. The cemetery is huge!! It took us a while to find the site. It is guided by yellow arrows starting where the administration offices are.

Saw Colonel Sanders in section 33 (white stripe on road) & Muhammed Ali in section U (green stripe on road). The oldest we found were section A in the front. What I just shared will save you a lot of time. 😊

Visted Mohammed Ali and Colonel Sanders. Beautiful cemetery that you can get a map to at the front gate. Well kept and maintained. Interesting headstones.

Historic Cemetery only a few miles from Downtown, Great for a drive through or walking. Beautiful Setting of old trees and shrubs and beautiful monuments. A small lake with Geese and Ducks, and if your lucky you may get a glance at the swans and peacocks.

I visit Cave Hill often with kids I mentor. At first they might think it's odd that I'm taking them to a cemetery, but they enjoy it. We always follow the yellow line to see Colonel Sanders and now we will visit Muhammad Ali. It's beautiful and peaceful.

Pretty nice cool walk in the summer. Famous folks buried here include Muhammad Ali, Col Sanders (KFC) and the Hill Sisters (Happy Birthday Song). Also, lots of interesting work of art ... This include but not limited to the grave of Barney Bright, Harry Leon Collins, Saundra Curry Twist and Jane Lily Thirwell
