A beautiful, peaceful and historical site. Lots of ducks, geese, squirrels. Even an occasional peacock. Very relaxing and calming walk.

Cemeteries are usually high on the list of places to visit on vacation. But Cave Hill is one of those rare resting places that's worth seeing. It's not as grand as Père Lachaise in Paris, or La Recoleta Cemetery in Buenos Aires. But for a mid-size city, its rolling hills and truly one-of-a-kind cemetery "art" -- memorial sculptures and tombstones... More

This was a amazing place to visit ...it's like going back in time. Also seeing the civil war soldiers buried here was humbling ... there are lots of famous people buried here and you can go to the office and get a map to find them .

Came here to visit some of the more notable graves like Muhammad Ali and Col.Sanders. Beautiful grounds and arboretum. Definitely worth the visit, would like to go back when we have more time to explore.

Very nice historic Cemetery. Very large and spread out. We did locate Col Sanders and Ali's resting places. Roads are well laid out with turnouts. Worth a visit.

The age and scope of this gorgeous cemetery are mind blowing. A number of tours, historical, celebrity, etc, are offered, including a hay ride. Can't wait to go back in the spring and explore more thoroughly.

We came here to visit the gravesite of Colonel Sanders and pay our respects to the Fried Chicken King. The grounds are well kept and gravesites are easy to find.

For a laid back afternoon, wander around the cemetery and try to find some favorite grave stones. We enjoyed feeding the ducks and looking for Colonel Sanders.

I Don't feel overly comfortable in Cemeteries but seem to visit a few ? We drove in next door first up till we realised our mistake, unkempt & derelict, unlike Cave Hill ! For a Cemetery it is fantastic, a real credit to the maintenance staff who were battling the Fall foliage as we toured ! Beautiful grounds, lakes, ponds,... More

So some may think it is a little morbid, but in fact Cave Hill Cemetery has over 27 tree species, a beautiful swan lake to sit and eat a picnic lunch, incredible architecture, and my personal favorite the only Domed Temple of Love in the world. The incredible stories behind Temple and some of the mausoleums is simply fascinating
