Beautiful Grounds and Area to visit

Great Tour and you even get you dip your bottle in the wax. Love the grounds and make sure you have a couple hours.

We went to Maker's Mark for bourbon tour, the facility is so nice, the history behind the facility and the Bourbon making is amazing. We were on a tour where we can see the end-to-end process of Bourbon and at the end we got a lesson how to make cocktail, it was fun and we learned a lot, even though... More

In our opinion this was our favorite Distillery tour on The Kentucky Bourbon Trail that we got to experience. Our tour guide Vincent was very knowledgeable and friendly. The best part of the tour was being able to dip your purchased bottle of Maker's Mark in the wax. You also get 4 tastings vs 3-4 at the other places, and... More

Really enjoyed the tour the glass tasting room was prety neat. As you walk into the gift shop the art on the ceiling of the warehouse is really cool. This would be great if you could keep a shot glass at the end

We enjoyed the entire tour. Active duty are FREE to enjoy the experience. The guides are very knowledgeable and open to all of your questions. If you only have time for one tour of any of the distilleries this is THE ONE! The cost is very reasonable and it's very visitor friendly. The tour takes you from raw ingredients to... More

This distillery has the best employees. They are so cordial and courteous. I dipped a bottle of Maker's Mark in wax. It's free with any purchase at the place. The buildings are in excellent condition and are visually appealing. I was not there at a busy time. I am told that that is in the warmer months.

The tour was very interesting and informative. We were able to see most of the process of making the bourbon except for the part of putting the bourbon in the barrels. I felt the tour guide was rushing it and while people were taking pictures she was already running to the next stop and started talking even if not all... More

While I was off work for Christmas vacation my wife and I visited. This is a beautiful location and the spirits are good too. We toured the distillery, sampled the goods and dipped our own bottles(which we prolly wont open) at the end of the visit.

We made the trip to Makers Mark to pick up my husband's ambassador bottles. We were booked on the Heritage tour and to our surprise and delight, Bill Samuels himself was our tour guide! As the son of the founder, he had so many amazing stories to tell. He talked about how Jim Beam was his godfather and how Pappy... More
