True bluegrass scenery and it isn't very crowded either; very nice drive. The new road surface helps a lot and it's nice to see something besides traffic! Definitely will take it again!

This road brings you through the heart of Kentucky. Make frequent stops - you will not regret! It does not matter what direction you drive. Its also part of the Bourbon Trail in Kentucky.

You will see some of the most magnificent horse farm in the world. Miles and miles of impeccably manicured farms and beautiful horses. It's definitely worth the drive.

The blue grass parkway offered an efficient way to move between two points that is well maintained and clean. This roadway also offeres some very nice scenery to enjoy along the way. The portions we travelled did have lots of police.

This is a well paved beautiful road unlike many eastern roads. Traffic is sparse and signage is good.

Took this encounter to different distilleries. A beautiful drive. See some horse farms, rolling hills, and green, lush country.

Although it is just a highway, it was very lovely in spring. We drove past fields of gorgeous yellow flowers, blooming dogwoods and red buds, as well as large rolling pastures and horse farms. The scene was very pastoral. There were lots of signs for...More

I do not know about restrictions. However, since this parkway appeared to be built to the standards of the average interstate highway, I do not think you would have any problems. It is a pretty stretch of road, but keep in... More
