The draft list was underwhelming to me, but I’m a dark beer guy. The bottle list was pretty good but that cellar list was great. Granted, there is quite a premium for vintage beers but a great selection none the less. The only better vintage...More

Admittedly I have mostly lived on the east coast where a good beer runs you $7-10 in a bar. The range of high quality beers at very reasonable prices ($4-7) at The Beer Trappe was very impressive. I noted a significant selection of Unibroue and...More

The Beer Trappe provides flights of well known and unique beers which have been cellared for varying periods of time. We chose a Brooklyn stout for 2010 - 2012 for our tasting where you get a 12oz bottle of your selection and sampling glasses. Since...More

This is the best place to find good beer. They sell bottles and have a very unique but small tap list. Good laid back atmosphere. By far the best selection of beer in town.

Beer is available here to buy and take home, or to drink on premises. There are so many craft beers available that it can be overwhelming, but they are so delicious. There are tables and chairs, seats at the bar, outside seating, and a nice...More

My husband and I went to The Beer Trapp to support our growing local microbreweries here in Lexington. The first vibe I got was "cozy" and "quaint". It is very low key ( at the time we were there), soft music being piped in. Thousands...More

They have a decent bottle and tap selection. There are some tables in the back, and they have food. I only drank the beer, but there was a good selection of that. Plenty to keep you occupied for a while. There are also tvs at...More

This is certainly a different place to drink (or buy as it is a shop as much as a bar) if you like beers with a difference. There are more bottled beers than you could possibly want, and they have a good number on tap...More
