I proposed to my wife 30 years ago at Jacobson Park! We moved to Lexington and now only live a few miles away. We try to go there at least once a week for the enjoyment and the relaxation.

My granddaughters love to play here. The playground is newly renovated, with a water park. There are ducks, paddle boats to rent, picnic tables. There are shelters to reserve and rent.

We stopped at Jacobson Park on our way to and from Tennessee. We were looking for a place to eat lunch and where the kids could burn off some energy after being cooped up in the car, and this was the perfect spot! Just a...More

This park has it all . It's got a HUGE fenced in dog park with watering areas and plenty of shade. There's also nice covered areas where it looks like family reunions happen all summer. ONE THING TO NOTE: its easy to get lost here......More

We had our 2018 family reunion for the second year in a row. The shed was large enough to hold our forty nine family crew. Nice breeze from the lake and large trees for shade.

I'll be honest- we stopped here because we had extra time at a concert and it was a group of adult friends no children so I can't rate how the kids would rate this park. There were lots of places to stop and take photographs...More

The new play structure is nice. The splash pad looks nice as well. The people at this Park are a different story. I keep seeing drug deals happening in the middle of the kids play area. So, I wouldn’t call this park safe.

I went early to see the sunrise over the park and was not disappointed. I wish I had my bike- it has a huge paved trail. If I had stayed in Lexington longer- I would have returned to see more of the park

Picnic areas, children parks, open fields, lakes and ducks everywhere! This place has room for people of every age. Sunsets are wonderful by the lake. You can spend the whole day in this park.

Yes, you may bring your domestic animals but they MUST be on a leash - that is a City ordinance. There is also a fenced in dog run park within Jacobson Park.
