Jacobson Park offers paddle boats, kayaks, and fishing along with a newer splash park. My teenagers even loved that part!

I proposed to my wife 30 years ago at Jacobson Park! We moved to Lexington and now only live a few miles away. We try to go there at least once a week for the enjoyment and the relaxation.

My granddaughters love to play here. The playground is newly renovated, with a water park. There are ducks, paddle boats to rent, picnic tables. There are shelters to reserve and rent.

This park has it all . It's got a HUGE fenced in dog park with watering areas and plenty of shade. There's also nice covered areas where it looks like family reunions happen all summer. ONE THING TO NOTE: its easy to get lost here......More

We had our 2018 family reunion for the second year in a row. The shed was large enough to hold our forty nine family crew. Nice breeze from the lake and large trees for shade.

Yes, you may bring your domestic animals but they MUST be on a leash - that is a City ordinance. There is also a fenced in dog run park within Jacobson Park.
