Overview
More
Part thoroughbred race course, part sales company and considered one of America's most beautiful tracks, Keeneland is known for its well-designed and meticulous landscaping. The grounds consist of the paddock, a prep area where visitors can view horses up-close just before the race and a combination of dirt and turf race tracks.

It was closed but we were able to walk the grounds. It was really neat to go through the entire facility.

East to find with plenty of parking. We were there on a Wednesday of the final week of racing. Beautiful building and grounds. Bet-ologists are available to explain how to bet for first-timers. Also the people at the window will help too if you bet...More

I had never been to a horse race before and we were lucky enough to be in Lexington during the spring race season, so we decided to stop in. General admission was $5/person and on the day we were there it was not overly crowded,...More

After enjoying the Oaks and KD I needed to be at a beautiful racetrack where I could roam freely. Keeneland fit the bill. Right accross from the Lexington airport, we were able to walk all around, enjoying the horses, the trainers, vets, and the track....More

Beautiful grounds. Great service from the parking lots. Drinks were reasonable for this type of place. Sat in the covered reserve place. Do not do general admission, uncovered in the sun or rain. The crowd was the draw for me. Just really diverse and fun...More

Keeneland is the horse owners race track. It's run as close to a private club as a public spot can be run - and I mean this in the most complimentary way. Everything is done in style and class. And, the track itself is beautiful...More

I love Del Mar , Santa Anita, Gulfstream and saratoga - but Keeneland is the granddaddy of them all. The architecture, quality of racing, limited time of the meet and the people make this track a world class experience. Mix in a tour to one...More

The buildings at Keeneland are beautiful and historic rock structures. The paddock area is amazing as are the grandstands.

Bourbon trail tours are good. You don't have to visit all of them. Buffalo trace Is good one.

You can leave a vehicle overnight, but not an RV for instance that you would stay in and sleep.
