The cemetary is home to trees that were there when the constitution was signed and some of our famous forefathers like Henry Clay. It is an amazing garden as well as a cemetary full of history. Mary Lincoln's parents and siblings are buried there. It is easy to get lost so plan well.

My Mom and I were in Lexington for an outing. She had heard that the flowers were beautiful in the Lexington Cemetery so we ventured there to see for ourselves. The entire place is beautifully landscaped and kudos to the cemetery for letting families plant real flowers and shrubs at their loved ones resting places. The whole place was in... More

We were not looking for any headstones in particular. A general map showing the older sections would have allowed us to park and walk

Touring any cemetery as historic as this one is always an amazing experience. So much history lies here among the graves. In the Spring it is full of colorful blooms and baby ducks. People go there to walk, remember, picnic and celebrate the lives that ended here. It is so beautiful.

Since we were at the Mary Todd Lincoln House nearby we thought a drive through this historic cemetery would be a good idea on a sunny day. I missed the little building where you can get a small map of the cemetery on the way in. Although the sections are marked (section N, etc.) there are not signs that guide... More

Very historic and picturesque setting. Great maps to guide you around whether you're looking for historic burial sites or specific species of trees. Lots of markers to guide you around the expansive property.

Henry Clay memorial, civil war monuments and graves, and the Todd family graves are the highlights. The cemetery is beautiful and worth walking or driving around. It closes early for a cemetery, so check its hours when you are there. It closed at five when we were there.

I've been visiting this Cemetery for years. There's so much history and beauty there. Henry Clay is buried there. Tulips in bloom in meticulous gardens with weeping trees that are breathtaking. Lexingtons best kept secret.

Structure is beautifully built and well maintained. Was a nice quiet stop on our journey. The details on the inside are just as exuisite as the outside.
