I recently visited Worcester for a two night break with my boyfriend. Mother nature decided to be kind to us during our stay and we decided that it would be a good time to go for a walk. The Malvern Hills are just the place!!! Having a knee injury normally makes activities like this difficult however, after a couple of... More

The Malvern Hills which overlook the Towns of Great Malvern, Little Malvern, Malvern Wells, and Malvern Link are good walking country with magnificent views. The Malvern Hills are also famous for the pure water which comes from a number of springs and which are supposed to be good for you. The Malverns have historical connections with Edward Elgar and he... More

About 100 of us gathered for the Geocaching YOSM event at the beacon. Allow 60 - 90 minutes from the leisure centre carpark (£3 all day) (extra 5 minutes from Great Malvern rail station) via the South Hill path with views around every bend. Allow for changes in weather and wind direction from top to bottom. There are many routes... More

Visited here again at the weekend. It was very breezy in places but lovely and warm in the sun! Depending on what route you opt to take it can be quite steep in places however it doesn't take too long to be fairly high up! There are lots of spectacular views on offer so bring a camera. We got the... More

Get out there and walk in the Malverns whatever the weather. Fairly easy walking and great pubs in Malvern to visit before and after the walk.

Walking up from the car park is not too strenuous and is amply rewarded by the fantastic panorama from the top. Views across several counties on sunny days.

Well worth the walk up to see the views, not just at the top, but along the way. You keep thinking you are almost there and then realise you aren't. We were lucky with a sunny day.
