This is a family friendly place to spend 4-5 hours. The highlight of my visit was the little extras that they do, caving, watch sheep herding, pet kangaroos, feed the birds and a little bird show and tell. The staff was super friendly and helpful...More

Without the Groupon, this would have been an even bigger waste of money. It is a glorified petting zoo. Animals look and act depressed. Cave tour guide clearly did not know much about caves and repeatedly made jokes about Appalachian culture. The place looks very...More

My family has made it to the point where more than eight or nine hours in the car while driving to or from a vacation is long enough. So we have started stopping for the night at various places along the way. On the way...More

it was very neat to be able to pet the kangaroos and even the baby inside the mother's pouch. The cave was interesting. The other animals were good. The biggest drawback is the walking up hills which could be a challenge for older people or...More

Laid back just like Australia. Feed the kangaroos and enjoy a hot afternoon in the cool cave. Some of the animal enclosures need an update but people are very friendly and knowledgeable.

The good stuff: feeding kangaroos, feeding birds and the cave tour especially, were great and worth returning for. Staff are very knowledgeable and engaging. Golf carts for rent. The not so good: some of the enclosures maybe need a little investment and look a little...More

My son was excited to see some kangaroos and enjoy some time above ground for awhile during our caving trip to Southern Kentucky. Upon entering, the parking lot is a gravel lot behind a truck stop. Not hard to find. We entered to main building/gift...More

We visited Kentucky Down Under after taking the historic tour at Mammoth cave, in hindsight I could have skipped Mammoth Cave and spent all day at Kentucky Down Under. We decided the $30.00 price to rent a golf cart was well worth it after a...More

I've been twice and spent about 2 hours both times. It really depends on you. You can spend all day there, doesn't cost extra, once you pay you can also leave and come back. We left and ate and came back for the cave tour.

$28.50 adults $15.50 kids Groupon provides a good discount. Full price is definitely way overpriced.
