Took a 2 hour Blue Herron viewing cruise. It was enjoyable. Is it luxury...no, but I didn't expect that. Downstairs seating are tables with plastic chairs. It was nice to be shaded from the sun. There were light snacks and the crew were all nice....More

This ride on the paddle boat was fabulous! The captain was so very knowledgeable and at ease with the boat, the information, and the passengers. The rise is serene! Must do!

I've ridden the Dixie Belle several times of the years, and frankly I doubt I will again. The PA system is ancient, poorly functioning, and the narrative dry as river drift wood. A short ride up and back, and that's about it. I wish Shakertown...More

We enjoyed this. My 4 & 6 year old got a little restless & hot by the end. And it's a little hard to understand the speaker system.

Nice trip. Beautiful river, that is not overran by alot of boat traffic. We saw goid but of wildlife, including a bald eagle.

I can't imagine they would ever be necessary, but that is a question for the front desk at Shaker Village. Sorry I can not answer.
