Guided tour. The guide was delightful! She was an amazing story teller that was able to captivate two young boys. Beautiful home, rich with history. Mc Dowell house is conveniently located next to Constitution Square. We visited both places in a morning.

The McDowell House is a beautiful historic home with a great story of Dr. Ephraim McDowell. This is a guided tour so you can ask questions. Easy to walk through. Tour includes the house, gardens and doctor's office. I would highly recommend this tour!

Great way to kill some time, the McDowell house museum was very interesting. It was like stepping back in time to see some of the thing there.
