Be forewarned. It is not easy to hike here away from the lake. It is suprisingly beautiful, but be aware if you hike here that the trails are in terrible shape, at times dangerous. Take extra caution. Guard rails have been destroyed, bridges have collapsed,...More

Took the day off to celebrate my birthday and hiking here with our two very hyper pups. We hiked completely around the lake. It's shaded and cool with clearly marked trails for both humans and dogs to enjoy!

Nice little place to fish, hike or take out a canoe/kayak. Trails are not in the best shape but they are okay. I think most people just come for the fishing.

This little lake is perfect for a kayaking. No motorized boats are allowed, so there is no wake from other boats which makes for a nice calm lake to paddle around. There is a boat ramp which makes it easy to launch a kayak. There...More

Doe Run Lake is a tranquil outdoor escape in the heart of Erlanger, Independence, and Covington. Not only does it offer boating and outdoor activities but it also has a 3-mile hiking trail which circles the lake. Highly recommended!

Doe Run Lake is a great lake for kayaking. Because it is on the small side, it is good for beginners. My husband enjoyed fishing in the lake while I like touring the lake and looking for wildlife. The portlet by the boat ramp could...More

Love this lake for boating or fishing. Not for swimming, but peaceful and beautiful. Nicely maintained.
