Big Mike has passed away and the shop has been sold. Need a large chunk of glass, some rocks or minerals or a delightfully tacky remembrance \of your trip?? Then Big Mike's is the place for you. On the highway 70 highway to Mammoth Cave.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed Big Mike's yet! Big Mike was an awesome giving, compassionate guy who loved children and his family are no different. This is a unique shop and seems to be timeless. Go through the Mystery house, it's unlike anything you've...More

Just stopped by to check out the rock shop. Great selection of crystals and gemstones. If you're not into collecting them, they still make great gifts and souvenirs! You'll find unique things here like carved animal gemstones, or a natural crystal/gemstone chessboard. You can also...More

This gift shop is affordable featuring the typical tourist inventory common to the area. The kicker for this spot is the "Mystery House". From the outside, it doesn't seem like much and on the inside it's not very big. But it's a fun optical illusion...More

We stopped here after leaving Mammoth Cave. My 8 year old son loved looking at the rocks and there was a large selection of local and imported rocks as well as cheap colored glass etc. The larger shop had all of your typical souvenirs and...More

This is what we expected as a true roadside attraction! You had the souvenirs and rocks (2 buildings plus outside), and then the oddities. You have the plesiosaur head in the upstairs area named Big Mo. There is a statue out front as well. Then...More

No complaints about the shop. It is a typical touristy souvenir shop. I was hoping for more unique rocks at the rock shop. But there were an awful lot of the touristy carved stone animals and dyed geodes, that sort of thing. Dont get me...More

Big Mikes is quirky and fun. It's off the beaten path but we were glad we went. We bought some rocks and the kids had a cheap thrill in the mystery house. It is in a community that is frozen in the '50's....so funny and...More

We stopped in our way back from Mammoth Caves. We love to stop @ kitchy places. They had several items to choose from tshirts to mugs, knives, magnets, toys etc. Not bad prices. A shirt @ mammoth cave national park was $24.00. Cheaper here. There...More
