I'm glad that I saw them, but they were exactly what I expected. I've never seen ruins before, and I feel like I don't need to see them again. It was fine to do the one time, though

definitely should make the effort to see if you have any interest in history. Nice to wonder around and actually climb up on some of the ruins. the views are great. And the tunnels are not bad if you don't mind being enclosed like that....More

Well cared for, open and accessable! Bring some comfortable shoes, water and the spirit of adventure... photo opportunities abound! The gift shop is great, the parrots are everywhere, pack a snack and enjoy!!!

This was a wonderful day trip or a great possibility if you don't have enough time to make the long trek to Copan.

I was stunned at how they let you just walk around everything - unlike the states. Some of the stories and "history" told by the guide seemed a bit made up - but the place is pretty neat.

Toured this incredible sight with a local guide. Only about 25% cleared and accessible but what there is to see, fantastic. What a marvelous culture. Immense pyramids, some restored, many steles, beautiful grounds and worth the effort. Not easy by any means!

El Puente will show you some of the places of life and death of the Mayan culture. This was a small acropolis where the lower classes lived.

The place is just 6km from the main road between Copan Ruinas and La Entrada. I believe it doesn't get many visitors and it is a beautiful park, great walk opportunity; a nice small museum; and an interesting ruins to explore.

The ruins are a must see when visiting Honduras. Our guide Tony was a talented and knowledgable man who showed us around with great detail. I was a little disappointed by the tunnels and the price we paid for them, so maybe would suggest not...More
