I am a car guy the tour was fantastic, interesting and educational. You must see the museum for the full corvette experience. Interesting display of rare one of a kind corvettes. My friend who is not a car guy was pleasantly surprised.

Great to view the corvette assembly from start to finish. Very informative and interesting throughout the tour. Might not be good for kids under 15 mostly because they may not stay interested the whole hour and half. Truly a must see for corvette enthusiasts

The Chevrolet engineers boosted the horsepower of the 1987 corvette by 10 hp to 240 by the use of roller-bearing hydraulic valve lifters. I don't believe your 1986 will have them unless retro fitted. Joe Campbell
