A short drive off of the Bluegrass Parkway, this gem offers both an historic lesson on the area and how bourbon is made as well as a friendly staff who desire to share the rich tradition of Heaven's Hill. While there is no distillery on the grounds at this location (it is actually in Louisville, KY) the entire processes is... More

Heaven Hill Bourbon Heritage Center is an awesome place to taste quality bourbon. Very different type of tour. You have time to taste some really good bourbon and discuss bourbon with your friends and others in the tasting. Can't wait to go back.

We had a great experience tasting the smooth bourbon on the connoisseur tour. Herb was a fantastic tour guide and very energetic and knowledgeable. Enjoyed tasting the 18 year aged bourbon and seeing the difference that the aging process makes.

This was by far our favorite of all eight distilleries we visited. From the moment you walk into the Heritage Center, you are transported back in time in this gorgeous building with a historical timeline, lots of photos, old tools, interesting anecdotes, and anything that has shaped the bourbon industry over the years in Kentucky. Fascinating - we stayed a... More

With all of the distilleries we visited, this one was the worst and was the most expensive ($12) for their regular tour. Their distillation process is actually at another location so all they could show us it their barrel house. Also, all of their whiskey that we had at the tasted was crap. Waste of time and money.

They have three different tours from 40 min to 3hr. We took the 40min tour. You will get the history of the Distillery and some education on distilling Bourbon in the tasting room.

We visited the Heritage Center mid-day on a Monday, and it was not very busy, which was really nice. We took the $10 tour which included the typical historic and product information that you will hear on every distillery tour, but also included a walk through one of the large rick-houses. You really get a sense of how large they... More

The only reason I give 2 stars is Andy Embry, the Guest Services Coordinator. That is it. He was super patient, went out of his way to respond to numerous emails/phone calls. Provided wonderful information regarding what my options were. Tremendous representative of the brand. I was very excited to visit, I loved the stuff. Notice LOVED, I won't purchase... More
