The Heritage Interpretation Center of Plaisance is the guardian of memory of the first days and development of all the Petite-Nation Region and Papineau Regional County Municipality. With the permanent exhibition, reconnect with the region geologic, settlement and development adventure. Before you leave, visit the Plaisance falls, the site of the vanished North Nation Mills village.

It was free to enter the site. Walking trails go from the top of the falls, way down to the bottom, in a forest setting. This is a must attraction to see if you're in the area.

Found out about the falls by chance from a restaurant owner in Montebello and really glad we did. The falls are impressive and we loved the hike starting at the top and following the water. Lots of picnic tables available and of course beautiful scenery
