For real surf and real fun, spend the day at Kenwood Cove - Salina's premier aquatic park, featuring thrill rides, 1,400 feet of slides, a children's play area, and fun attractions for the whole family. Plunge 35 feet from one of the park's four adventure slides. Drop 12 feet then swirl around the tornado slide before falling into a pool below. Hop on an inner tube and glide 275 feet down the river slide into the Lil' Smoky Lazy River. Or, catch a wave in the wave pool. Plus, so much more! Relax, soak up the sun, and spend the day at Kenwood Cove, conveniently located in Salina, Kansas, at the I-70, I-135 interchange. The family-friendly, low-cost aquatic park features Caribbean-inspired décor, lush foliage, and crashing waves, for an authentic island experience.

For Salina this water park isn't bad

Its not Oceans of fun, or Schlitterbahn's but this place is still decent for the size of Salina. I usually can spend 3 hours or so here.

This can be very fun for the family, however the weekends are so very crowded. They do not have near enough rafts for the lazy river and the slides. The concessions and bathrooms are near the entrance and your feet will get very hot and burned trying to get through the crowds.

Dear christieF842, Thank you for comments stating that we are fun for families, which is certainly our goal. We are addressing your concerns this year by ensuring that we have plenty of tubes for our swimmers to use on the slides and lazy river. As you know, Kenwood Cove is a large park to accommodate the size our community and... More

We have family and friends we have met up with on travel trips and made this our meeting point for the past two years. I don't think next year we will continue the tradition. Adult fowl mouthed patrons intoxicated (even bringing in liquor bottles, unable to walk without assistance), kids running wild with teenage staff lacking the authority to control... More

This place is a hidden gem. Wave pool, slides, diving board, fun lazy river, and a fun space and slide for the littles. We could have stayed all day. A lot packed into a small space, it was packed, but didn't feel packed. Lockers were on the small side. But that's the only down side. Can't wait to get back!

I was apprehensive to go due to not being able to swim and having a 3 year old. But I am glad I did. My son loved it and I did to. The wave pool is fantastic along with the lazy river. The kiddie pool is a nice place to stay with your little ones. Most of the area is... More

Very clean. Lots to do. Cost this year is $3.50 child/ $5.50 adult. Well worth the price!! They provide a lap pool, multiple slides, baby pool, a lazy river and plenty of lounge chairs to go around. Swimming lessons have been very professional and begin on time!! Highly recommend.

Great place to take your family to cool off during the summer heat. It is affordable and many attractions for all age levels. Need to get there early to reserve cabana spots so that you can get out of the sun. Also, if you are using the lockers either bring your own lock or you can pick up one for... More

I have been to many water parks in my life. (I have reviews for most of them). This one was probably my third favorite when it comes to slides. They are big, but nothing too exciting. But they are fun and lines aren't too bad. The busy part is what ruined the rest of the "attractions". The entire water park... More
