Sandbanks park is lovely, very varied, very interesting way to spend a day wandering around rocks, shells, and bird-spotting. We three went at the end of June and were delighted by its simplicity, the wind, and the water. No one else was around so we...More

Beautiful beach, TERRIBLE campground. Do not camp here! Extremely loud and inconsiderate people all over the place (not just one..) and campground staff does NOT bother at all! Very sad to see such a beautiful place go completely to waste. Shame..

It was a windy, rainy day when we stopped here but it was still worth the stop to see the waves pounding against the rocks. The surf was rough and makes one aware of how powerful Mother Nature can be.
