As you enter the winding path to begin your adventure your greeted by a variety of sounds. Admiring each enclosure can sometimes be an eye spy game for the shy animals, but you are rewarded by their beauty once you spot them. I personally enjoy...More

We expected this to be a small zoo, but we didn't expect for it to be quite as small as it is. We took my toddler on a weekday afternoon with only two hours until closing. Turns out we only needed 45 minutes, and that...More

Went here for the afternoon with friends and it was more than I expected! Exhibits had all the creatures necessary to keep our group entertained. I loved how the peacocks roamed freely calling to each other.

We love coming to this zoo so much that we bought memberships for our family and come about once a week. A quiet, small zoo, it nevertheless has chimpanzees (including a baby!), tigers, Amur leopard, and many other animals you would expect in much larger...More

The zoo is okay. It's nothing exciting. No elephants or giraffes (my daughters 2 favorites) It was neat to walk around though, pretty inexpensive.

The animals are spread out that you get bored in between walking to each. Trash laying around, and akward set up hard to push a stroller or wagon through the paths. Most of the time the animals arent even put or they are asleep.

Despite the fact that they do have a lot of animals, my kids loved the variety of animals. But their favorite part was the play ground.

I expected more from this zoo. It's very tiny, doesn't have many animals. Staff are ok. Make sure you do not show up 2 hours before closing as all the animals are put away. For the price, it's not worth it. Head to Salina.

We love taking our kids here throughout the year and enjoy the clean, well cared for exhibits and get to participate in many of their activities throughout the year, too.

Sunset Zoo is a very nice experience. It is mostly smaller native animals unlike large city zoos but most enjoyable. It gives you a good workout with lots of stairs. Looking forward to our next visit.
