These horses are a traditional Swedish handicraft that the town has adopted as tbeir heritage. There are several scattered througbout the town and are fun to search out.

it was interesting to see the variety of the horses (i.e. the decorations), especially thought the one in front of the senior center was cool (horse was wearing glasses)

This is such a beautiful, colorful, pedestrian friendly town with their Dala horses in front of local businesses. Each is so different and make for great photos. Just go into the shop and visit the craftswoman carving these iconic creatures.

Very nice service. Great shopping for items from Sweden. Can find reasonably priced to expensive items. With the money if it is something that you want.
