We came up from Oklahoma for a special event at the Museum and I was amazed at the size of the collection here. I've been to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museums and the Liberal Air Museum is on par with the best of them!...More

If you are into touring airplane museums put this one on your list. More than 100 airplanes of all different types. Knowledgeable staff. Personal guides if it;s not too busy.

Kids loved all the airplanes, especially the simulators on the computers. Amazing amount of history packed in the building, some very unique planes. They have other activities held there as well that look like neat events.

Interesting collection of experimental, civil and military aircraft spanning time from pre-WW2 up until the 80's. If you have any interest in aviation history and are in the area it is worth the time and price of admission to stop in and see.

Much better museum than we expected! Many airplanes on display and good information on each display. Workers/volunteers were all friendly and knowledgeable about displays. Highly recommend this as a visit for both pilots and those just interested in aviation.
