The quilt exhibit we enjoyed there was themed around the struggles of black Americans to be a part of society. It was very thought-provoking and there were some very well designed quilts.

This is the KU museum, but it seems much bigger and better than other university museums. This has fantastic art year round, with new and exciting exhibits often.

The Spencer Museum of Art is a nice place for a visit while in Lawrence. It is just down the hill from the main KU campus and offers a nice selection of art on display.
