We dropped in one night when the museum happened to be open late. We weren't expecting much & were surpised by everything they had. They had some great information on Lawrence KS and the are.

I did not know the history of resistance in the area. Lots of stairs. Beautiful oak and stone rooms.

Take time to look at the outside as well as the inside of the building. The craftsmanship is amazing. Great history of the city, THE Lawrence High School, and THE University of Kansas. Our granddaughters especially enjoyed the playhouse.
