I visited here because I had always wanted to see a Lustron home. They had one on the property furnished with original items from family that donated the home. Very neat. There were also many older buildings. I loved this museum.

Need something to do for a while? Check out the museum. They have done a good job showing us the history of the area. Displays were very well done.

The museum and Village are well worth the time . I have been there a few times and I have found it to be interesting. Right in Great Bend, KS. Next to the Arkanas river and The Santa Fe Trail.

$4 entry was a deal. an incredibly diverse collection of artifacts and displays for a small town museum. Lustron house on teh grounds was very cool and unique - not something you can view just anywhere.
