I don't usually go for this stuff, but we stayed in Goodland, so why not. It actually is kind of cool. It represents Kansas especially with the landscape around it.

Traveling west from Indianapolis to Goodland. Went to see easel before traveling on the next morning. It is interesting if you are in to those odd things in America. It is a huge easel! Worth the stop if you are in town, and not far...More

We stopped for the night and was pleasantly surprised to find this. It is a giant painting on an easel.

Giant Van Gogh painting on a easel. Located in a small town. Not much more to say about it. Looks like something you'd see on Route 66?

Stopped by a giant easel with the family. The area was well kept and there seems to be a lot of town pride here. Every one waved at each other on the streets and the easel was a gem to the locals. Fun to stop...More

This is a giant Van Gogh piece of art. It is huge. There is a sidewalk so you can take photos. You can see it from the highway, but we took the time to drive up to it. I'm glad we did. How many towns...More

You won't find a pice of art like this in every town. There is a story behind this piece, but we don't know it. Sorry. PS we really like this town!

It is as advertised. A large Van Gogh which makes a cool pit stop. Nice parking lot with a good place to take a pic. Probably really nice when the Sunflowers are actually in bloom here. Ask the locals when that is. We missed sunflowers,...More

Yes, you can see this easel from the highway -- just barely. It's worth it to to get off the highway and take a few minutes to drive to the official viewing site in town, which is a free parking lot. Then you can appreciate...More

It is about one mile. It is not far at all. Good place to stop and stretch the legs. Also, cruise the main strip of the town. It is a neat small town.
