Since we were with a group of 31 people, we had made arrangement ahead of time to have several tour guides. Even though this is a small museum they had a lot of interesting items and the guides seemed well informed,.

The programming is excellent and varied for a small museum. Good for older children with an interest in history. Programs rotate on a monthly basis and range from sewing to prohibition.

They have a lot of history to present regarding the local mining area and the little Balkans. There are a lot of donated memorabilia.
