Excellent museum tracing the history of the United States Army Cavalry. The Cavalry was instrumental in opening westward expansion of the United States and the museum does an excellent job recreating some of the key events in the history of the Cav. Garry Owen!

My family visited this museum over the summer and we enjoyed it. We have two 2 year olds and they loved being able to walk through the museum and see all the cases of history. The gift shop is really cute too.

This place is fabulous. You must go to the main gate at Ft. Riley and get a pass to enter the fort. The museum is the the midst of the old, magnificent late 1800's architecture; just that is worth seeing. The museum displays the history...More
