Historic Victorian restoration from 1893. The owners have worked hard to bring back the original beauty of this home. Rounded glass, hand carved facia, Three stories, a huge front porch, spiral staircases. Available for private tours.

I seldom go downtown because it is hard to find parking. You have to back out of the space and the city put trees and flowers at every corner which makes it hard to see oncoming traffic. I do not recommend downtown Emporia!

Emporia people are very friedly and always willing to help out each other. The down town is just as friendly and many shops to visit also.

this is quintessential mid- America! a downtown area with light traffic and a few small shops. Some good restaurants and lots of windows to browse. Very cute, and not too much time needed to see it all
