This is a must visit! Call for reservations first. The tour begins at the Ellinwood Emporium. They give a history lesson on the tunnels and then you go underground to visit the past. It truly is a step back in time! Thank goodness the granddaughter...More

You need to call for reservations. This underground city was initially a city for cowboys and wagon train. There were all sort of shops, barber shop, bath house, saloons, and brothels(assumed but not documented) There is a restored speakeasy that is opened Friday and Saturday...More

Our 11 yr old grandson has talked about this visit for 3-wks now to anyone who will listen. Definitely worth the visit! We didn't know the times for the tours so had to wait, but there is a wonderful little coffee shop across the street....More

The tour guides are both great storytellers! The preserved history is fascinating. Highly recommend this. I would go back and take friends.

We a local lady take us underground in Ellinwood. It was fascinating and even my three daughters aged 9, 7 and 5 liked it.
