Do stop in to see this gem, or be fortunate enough to score tickets to a show. The staff (volunteers) are genuine in their pride of this beautiful theater, especially Amber, who enthusiastically shared her knowledge and love of the theater to us personally. My friend and I were in town to catch a show (yodeling no less) and the... More

This is a grand old theater that has been restored to its original state- including the wooden floors. We were turned lose to ramble through all parts of the theater on our own. I understand a guided tour is sometimes available for a small fee. It sounds like the theater is used for quite a few community events. Beautiful architecture.

This restored landmark is a treasure. The effort taken to put this theater back the way it was over a hundred years ago was no small task, but very well done indeed. The new manager is sweet and funny, knows a fair amount of the history and is eager to learn more. Enjoyed our visit for a graduation event.

Restored to it's original 1907 splendor. Another Concordia sight to see. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a great love for the building. The history of the family is very interesting. They have a very active list of theatre productions. Highly recommend this tour.

We recently attended a theater production in the Brown Grand. There has been recent renovation done and it looks "grand". In the future, here's hoping they can update the sound system as it was very difficult to hear the actors and actresses. The staff was very helpful assisting an elderly person who was attending with us.

We were here for a graduation, got to see the inside and hear the history before hand. The restoration on this building is beautiful. This is a must see, the full screen painted canvas that was in back and is the original, was worth the trip back stage. Don't miss this historic site.

I grew up in Concordia & my Uncle was part owner of the Brown Grand. I spent many hours with a lot of happy memories attending shows & events there.

Three of us took a tour of this beautiful Opera House. The restoration that has been done is fabulous. The Opera House is currently raising money to restore the stage area, but it's still a tour very much worth doing.
