Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great little brewery. Good selection of different styles of beer. Young to aged ie Kreik etc. Tasting paddles available bigger than the average tasting paddle size and good value.
Hops are grown there including rare legget hops. You can walk up to the vines to see them.
A definite destination for craft beer lovers in Railton. Customer service was great, staff were very knowledgeable in the beer making process and keen to talk about the beer brewed there.

Thanks for your review Tarzanfail, cheers!
p.s. our hops will be sprouting again mid-September and starting to climb late October, February-March is a great time to see them fully-formed.

It was a rainy day so things were quiet upon arrival however our host was very quick to greet us. Some lovely tastings and information about brewing and hops and how Seven Sheds came about was an added bonus as the tastings and craft beer knowledge itself was worth it.
We left with a few bottles to accompany our dinner that night.
Perfect little visit :)

Stopped in after getting wind of this place on our way to Launceston and glad we did. Very welcoming and knowledgeable about their craft. Sat out on the patio under an umbrella and sampled a tasting paddle. Some very unique and tasty beers. Shame the hop vines were regenerating but it was the wrong time of year for them. Pick up some take home and continued on our way. Definitely worth a stop for any craft beer lover.

Without doubt the rudest service we have ever encountered in Tasmania. Do yourself a favour and go across the road to the Railton Hotel and buy some takeaway beers.

Some great beers to taste a helpful and happy host. If you would like to learn a little about the brewing process and the different types of hops then this is for you. They have some really interesting beers that have been aged in wood - they are very pricey but sound wonderful

I have travelled to a lot of breweries all over the world.
In all my travels I have never in my life come across an owner of a brewery as rude as this person is.
As for the beers themselves very average indeed,
A very watered down taste compared to other craft beers,
The best advice I could give is as their slogan says,
‘last beer before paradise’
Would be to skip this beer here and go straight to paradise and move on to the next brewery.

My husband and I visited seven sheds which was a short drive from our accomodation in Sheffield. As it is in a small town and in a somewhat suburban street make sure you keep your eyes open for it otherwise you will drive straight past it like we did. Parking is down a small driveway or kerbside (near the seven shed sign) with a 1 minute walk.
As we were driving, we choose 3 beers that were tasting size (they do have a 5 beer tasting board) the Kentish, the pale ale and the Indian pale ale. All were fantastic but you definitely tell why the Kentish is the flagship beer. We bought two long neck (750 ml) bottles of this.
All up great experience and highly recommended if you are in the area and enjoy beer.

Many thanks for visiting and for your review pink_twinkle_85, yes we are tucked away out of sight from the road but standard cars and single axle vehicles are welcome to drive in and park on-site.
Hoping you enjoyed the rest of your time in our area.
Cheers

We had five varieties of beer in a pleasant garden setting. The man who served us was really friendly. The beers were really different from each other including an unusual one at the end, which had berries (raspberry?) and was pink. I was surprised that I liked the stout, I'm not usually a stout girl. There is no food here, and we arrived at noon, so we went to a bakery on the corner which served tasty lunch (pie - but a good pie; burger, but a good healthy burger; and avocado on toast... and a really really good apple desserty thing) and then came back. I found the topiary really amusing too. We had fun at this stop.

Thanks for your review LadyQinto.
The pink beer was Razzamatazz, which is brewed with raspberries and blackberries from nearby Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm.
We hope to be doing something with food by this coming summer (2018/19) but until then, happy for our customers to bring a picnic or grab some takeaways to bring back and enjoy with their beers.
Glad you enjoyed your time in Railton.
Cheers
Catherine

Worth a trip to Seven Sheds, south of Devonport, if you like your beer and cider.
Was interesting hearing how they use very little mechanical methods in their brewing processes. They even grow some hops in their 'backyard'. Very small operation and clearly done with love!
The lady was friendly to talk with while we were served small samples of their beer.

Many thanks for your review Craig M. We are pretty small and we like to be hands-on in the brewery and in the hop garden.
We sell one of the Spreyton Cider lines which is made nearby and also worth a visit if you're in our area.
Cheers

We visited with a group of friends. It seemed we were not welcome and when we asked questions about his process we were treated as if we were idiots. The beers were fine but the guy serving us was unfriendly. On checking reviews we fully agree with the Jan 23 review entitled "awkward"

Hello POOrly, I'm sorry to hear your visit didn't meet your expectations. May I ask whether you were on a brewery tour, or doing a free tasting in the cellar door?
Kind regards
