We went to Gårdsjö Älgpark in December and had a private tour with Leffe, meeting the moose, and then stayed one night in the house in the middle of the moose park. What a lovely time we had. Leffe is the most inspiring human being, he loves his moose and tells you all the things there are to know about... More

The Algpark is a 30 minute drive from Uppsala - and you need to drive there since it is not close to public transport. On arrival, a browse of the ticket booth/shop is fascinating for the number of memorabilia depicting moose, meece, mooses, whatever from the usual bright fridge magnets to complex cast-iron pot stands. And while you wait for... More

Man åker runt bland älgarna och får klappa dem och se dem på riktigt nära håll. Super 👌👌 Perfect visit! You have the opportunity to pat the mosses and get really close to them. A really nice visit, would recommend it!

This is a must see. The owners are informative, helpful and engaging. We stayed overnight in the Moose house. It is an absolute must. Every comfort has been thought of, the food was delicious and the sauna was wonderful. We would go again if we are ever in Sweden. The surroundings were beautiful and still. We sat on the porch... In this elk park you will be able to see and touch elks. I recommend it as a family activity, specially for the little ones. Something to improve is that, sometimes, Swedish ask questions in Swedish, and the speaker replies in Swedish. I think it would be good if he replies in Swedish but does a short and to the... More

Very interesting trip. Been there with my mother and teenage sister and we all loved it. The tours are well-organised, the guide is extremely enthusiastic and funny and the animals are just great, you can see how well they are doing in the park. We learned a lot about the moose overall and about the animals living there - Olivia's... More

Embodying one aspect of Swedish culture (compassion), the moose farm experience is very Swedish. The moose man is very enthusiastic and allowed us to touch the moose as we sat on a tractor. The restaurant serves amazing food including waffles. The souvenir shop sells cute souvenirs. I'd totally recommend this one :)

It's a great Weekend outing😄. The moose man is incredibly enthusiastic and you can sit in a tractor and enjoy seeing the moose in the wild. There's also a restaurant (the waffles are amazing) and a souvenir shop. You can walk up to the moose farm from the bus station or take a taxi. A lovely experience :-)

This was a great experience! Was there with my two nephews and we did not expect such a great tour with the "Moose man" himself. During the moose tour you sit on a big wagon which is hauled by a tractor. The tour is leading you directly into the mooses home. There the you stop a couple of times and... More
