Cute old town full of antique stores. We were there at a quiet time but apparently can be a hoppin' place at times. Shop owners were all very friendly and welcoming.

We happened to be in the area for other purposes but were lucky enough to observe the annual Fall Festival where, in addition to the many antique shops, vendors from other towns and states were able to sell their particular wares to the public. A nice, clean little town and special attraction at Christmas time when music and lights bring... More

Small unique town with several antique stores. Could find a little something for everyone, but didn't find any deals. People are friendly here. Went on a Friday, some stores weren't even open so would recommend going on a Saturday. Buildings were very old and did smell.

We shopped at several antique shops while traveling through Walnut & B Restored was by far our favorite shop! We found several interesting architectural pieces to hang in our home. I thought the prices were fair for what we purchased. This store also sells new clothing and jewelry pieces.

Lot of expensive antiques. No bargains here. People are friendly. We were there one week after their giant annual antique event. Many stores were closed even though it was Saturday afternoon. Guess the past weekend burned them out. The Haystack restaurant was closed. The bars were closed. One bar and grill was open. The people in the bar were not... More

This small quaint little town comes together every father's day weekend in June for a HUGE antique walk. There are over 300 vendors and growing every year. The quality of the antiques is awesome. It is very impressive that a small town of almost 900 people can pull together to put on such a huge event!

I love shopping at antique shops and this place was awesome. A lot of nice things and cool things to look at. Some stores are a bit pricey but most of them are.

Wonderful shops filled to the rafters with antiques and collectible. Prices are high. But a great place to browse.

What a beautiful little town that is full of little shops all around. Walnut sits right off of I-80 so it makes for an easy stop while you are driving across Iowa. You will find many many shops in this town that are full of antiques and other items.
