I have never been to Iowa. White Pole gave me a ton of history and information about Iowa. If you want to know more about Iowa. White Pole Road can give you that information.

A historic drive. From Jesse James train robbery. To Bonnie and Clyde bank robbery. Gas station man in Menlo who served as a locator for airplanes. The freedom rock is not far off the route. And the plane museum. Much more and good food. Antiques...More

Actually went on the road a few years ago not realizing what it was and that it was listed as an attraction on TripAdvisor. One of the kids did a report on early highways in Iowa and this came up. Nice drive if you like...More

I do go to Stuart as the James Gang robbed a train near there and Bonnie and Clyde robbed a bank in town. Nice little town, but honestly; can't they come up with a better tourist attraction than to paint poles white?
