This is another FREE place to visit that mostly offers a great view into Nebraska and South Dakota, and is a must for Lewis & Clark history buffs.

Our family enjoyed this stop on our road trip. The monument overlooks the Missouri River. Beautiful view and a nice park nearby.

Being a Lewis and Clark buff, I was excited to see this monument. Several weathered kiosks tell the story and show the construction. It's a great quick stop before heading over to the First Bride's Grave for a picnic lunch and a short hike.

The Sgt. Floyd Monument provides homage to a very interesting and important part of US history regarding the voyage of Lewis and Clark. It provides a beautiful view of the Missouri River on a crisp fall day!
