I walk here 2 or 3 times a week when the weather is good. Great trails, fairly flat. My beagle loves to go here for her walks. Great pond, sometimes there is trout. Good place to take little fishermen. The arboretum is nice and the people that work there are friendly and helpful.

With owls, geese, and ducks outside and reptiles, amphibians, and fish inside, this is a fun place to visit with the 5 and under crowd. Nice park across the street, too, with a fun play structure. Good for a half-day adventure.

Discovery Park is a great place to go for the day. You can fish and catch crappie Bass catfish and in the fall you can catch trout. At the center itself you can pick up a camping booklet for $90. This is a discount of $3 per day. This allows you to camp at Salisbury. They also have free camping... More

Nice park with walking or biking trail. Pond to fish in. A nice place to go for just peace and quiet and tranquility. I like to grab some lunch and drive here for a quiet lunch and than go for a walk after.

We love taking walks at Discovery Park. Nice wide paths. Very safe and lots of different trees and plants to enjoy. Also the Discovery center has a lot of nature exhibits and information. It's a gem in Muscatine.

Great location right off 61 bypass close to the high school. Good drive going around the park and trail for walking is smooth and clean. Trail circles the park and is a pleasant place to walk to see the plants, flowers, trees and wildlife. Several ponds are located around the park and they offer fishing at one of them at... More

The discovery center, offers educational information on the habitat that surrounds us. It tells about the various fish that are available for the catching. (With a liscens). They have several walkways you can take, there is a gazebo perfect for a wedding. This is truly a great place for picture taking.

The Muscatine County Conservation board has developed a beautiful park right in the city limits. The tranquility you experience while fishing, walking on the paths or trail hiking is amazing. Discovery Park is my favorite destination to walk. The learning center is a great educational tool for the young and old.
