The owners are friendly, dedicated and hard working. The lavender farm and gift shop were established literally in the middle of nowhere. It is a nice gem to find on a back road of rural Iowa. It is well worth the drive.

Loess Hills Lavender Farm in located off Interstate 29 on a "scenic byway." The drive is beautiful and as nice chance from the interstate. The farm is easy to find, just look for the purple flags and lavender bass mailbox.

The best part WAS GETTING THERE THROUGH ROLLING HILLS AND CORN FIELDS. The site itself was nothing more than some lavender fields and a gift shop that had no aroma. Perhaps it was the season but definitely was not worth the drive.
