The owners are friendly, dedicated and hard working. The lavender farm and gift shop were established literally in the middle of nowhere. It is a nice gem to find on a back road of rural Iowa. It is well worth the drive.

A sweet, modest local business with a small hillside lavender garden. Don't expect France! We stopped in as we were driving the Loess Hills Scenic By-Way.

We went on Father's Day. Even though the lavender was not all in bloom, some were and it was so pretty! Nestled on the Liess Hills countryside, it was a great stopping place. The ladies were so friendly and helpful! They even gave us a...More

Much smaller then I expected. Wife and I enjoyed a nice fall morning walking around the farm. Late spring, early summer may have provided more flowers and aroma. Reminded me of my grandmother.

I appreciate all of the hard work this family has put into their lavender farm. The setting and fields are pretty, although a lot smaller than they seem in the pictures. They sell a lot of handmade goods (body care products, jewelry, aprons, etc) in...More

Loess Hills Lavender Farm in located off Interstate 29 on a "scenic byway." The drive is beautiful and as nice chance from the interstate. The farm is easy to find, just look for the purple flags and lavender bass mailbox. The gift shop has several...More

The best part WAS GETTING THERE THROUGH ROLLING HILLS AND CORN FIELDS. The site itself was nothing more than some lavender fields and a gift shop that had no aroma. Perhaps it was the season but definitely was not worth the drive.

Not much to see this time of year cannot pick berries but nice interlude. They sell some products and let us picnic on porch. It is down a dirt road
