I was there with a friend of mine and I thought this was a very nice home for the period of time that it was built.

The tour admission to The Music Man Museum (also a must-see!) includes a tour of Meredith Willson's childhood home. Much of the original furniture and artifacts can be seen in this beautiful home. We even got to go up into the attic! Great fun!

Our tour guide was great and lots of background info about the family. The house is very well maintained. We were the only ones there late on a Friday afternoon.

Tour guide was very informative about the house and was neat to see all the different things from Meredith Wilson's childhood in the home.

When I finished looking at The Music Man Museum, the tour guide suggested that I walk the short distance over to Meredith Wilson's boyhood home. I did. It was such a wonderful exhibit. It was much larger with much more to see than I expected....More

Beautiful tribute to Meredith Wilson and his musical "The Music Man". Quaint town along the river. Also seen a hotel and house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Both are beautiful.

We were there on a holiday so it was closed, but we were able to walk around the house and the museum. The entire square is too good to pass up. Lots of wonderful statues and architecture.
