Visiting my home town is always great. We always eat at Taylor's Made Rite and Zeno's pizza while there. Visited several places of history I frequented growing up in Marshalltown from 1943 to 1962.

We enjoyed going back in time with the wide variety of Marshall County artifacts. Many memories in this well organized collection. The tour guide was well versed in Marshall County history. Anyone with ties to the county needs to see this good display.

This historical society is located in the former home of Admiral Jack Fletcher near downtown Marshalltown. Possibly the best part of this facility is the great genealogical library located there. This is a sizeable library with both local information as well as resources on families...More
