We recently visited the University of Iowa for a few days. The college campus is clean, safe, attractive and occupies a large portion of Iowa City close to the downtown area. The hospital system is also expansive. Lots and lots of things to do and see in a college town. Go Hawkeyes.

As a graduate of the University in 1959, it was a pleasure to return for my grandson's graduation. The University has changed with many improvements and additions since my days. Was a good experience and a well organized..

We visited the old dorm room this weekend and toured the campus once again. Even if you are not going to go to college, go visit.

I've had occasion - either through my own studies, on various conferences and/or in my travels to be on many college and university campuses in the US and in other countries; and - without equivocation, the rowdy, inebriated, disorganized, chaotic, rude, vulgar and otherwise wholly distasteful experience of attending a BIG 10 game at the University of Iowa can't be... Stayed at the hospital for a week for heart complications. Fantastic service from the nurses whether day or night. Team doctors give you best service. Food service makes other hospitals envious having Ala carte system.

The University of Iowa is currently bombarded with more construction than any other campus I have seen. They are just now finishing up the repairs on university arts and music buildings that were taken down after the 2008 floods. They look like they will be amazing though! The new Hancher should be opening any day now and it is breathtaking!... More

The university campus is very beautiful. We had a great experience doing a college visit and we had an opportunity to walk around the entire campus. Because the university was flooded a few years back, a lot of the buildings have been reconstructed and particularly the area where their art school is located has some exceptional buildings and new construction....
