Won't take you long to take it all in, it's a small park. Nice tower to get a nice view and that's about it. But, worth a ride.

If you like to hike, this is the place. Atypical flora & fauna and NEVER crowded, even on w/e's. Long or short trails and a super 1930's WPA lookout tower! You can also just take a leisurely drive & loop back or use the opposite...More

This is a beautiful state park with a paved road running it's entire length. Many pedestrian and horse trails. Historic structures from the CCC era, a nice campground and small fishing lake.

We arrived just after a near record amount of rainfall in the area. Many waterways were out of their normal banks. However, this park was not seriously affected by anything other than surface muddiness, etc. (No flooding.) I'd recommend you try to reserve site #25...More
